JAMHI offers a 24/7 on-call response, including screening and crisis intervention, for mental health emergencies.
Short-term, intensive psychiatric services are provided to individuals during an acute mental health crisis episode. The services include assessment of mental status and risk of harm to self or others to determine the need for hospitalization and coordination of services for support and referral.
JAMHI staff work closely with Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH) Emergency Department staff and Mental Health Unit staff to facilitate the most appropriate level of care, including emergency and involuntary commitments. The BRH Mental Health Unit is a state-designated evaluation and treatment facility.

JAMHI Salmon Creek Clinic offers our patients the opportunity to speak with an on-call provider about their medical concerns after business hours.
To reach the on-call nurse triage line, call our main JAMHI Salmon Creek Clinic number at 907-463-3303 and follow the prompts for after-hours service. You will then be connected to our after-hours service provider.
Explain the nature of your issue to the after-hours service provider. The triage line will provide recommendations on the next steps, which may include receiving a call from the on-call nurse.
Requests for medication refills, appointment scheduling, and billing inquiries will only be handled during regular business hours. For Genoa pharmacy after-hours assistance, please call 866-599-8870.
